There’s a difference? I’m not sure Silas knows that.
The squirrels here are very safe. One would have to be prodigiously stupid for Silas to reach it. The one he’s excited about here is on the roof of our garage.

Sometimes I let him, but only when I know the neighbors aren’t home. The squirrels are perfectly safe from him, so it’s a good training moment.
