A lot of you clamored for a picture of the chair I wrote about Monday. Digging around in my archives this morning revealed this one, of puppy Silas in action. That grey smudge by his face is a wad of stuffing that he is pulling out even as I snap the photo.
Until this, I had forgotten that we had to both move the chair upstairs and put a sheet of cardboard over the stuffing.

Ahh puppy Silas – still adorable even when being mischevious!
In our house, it’s the cats we have to protect furniture from. I’m not sure of their selection process, but a blue chair I love is locked away in my office rather than the living room since they’ve taken a shining to using it as a scratching post (they also use their actual post). The other furniture is not to their tastes apparently, but my favourite chair… well… that’s how it is.
This is why we can’t have nice things!
